      Currently, JIRA do not have an ability to restrict a number of sub-tasks creation in a parent issue screen and allow users to create more than ~900 sub-tasks without any limit.

      This flexibility can create a potential performance issue for the user instance in future. It would be great if JIRA have an ability to set a number of sub-tasks creation are allowed in a parent issue screen.
