Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
When editing a project permission scheme, its quick to grant Users / Groups / Project Roles access to any or all available permissions via the Add link under Operations.
However, reversing that process isn't possible. Taking the Browse Projects permission as our example. As admin, I want to keep the admin group and remove everything else:
- Single User (John Doe) (Delete)
- Single User (Jane Doe) (Delete)
- Project Role (Developers) (Delete)
- Project Role (atlassian-addons-project-access) (Delete)
- Project Role (Clients) (Delete)
- Project Role (Users) (Delete)
- Group (administrators) (Delete)
Retaining Group (administrators), I would need to click the Delete link 6 times. I would then proceed to the next project permission and do the same, which could equate to being a non trivial administrative task.
Ideally we could streamline deleting project permissions by providing admins with the ability to bulk delete.
