The Workflow editor (Diagram) convert Recursive Global Transitions into Step Transitions

      As soon as a Workflow is edited using the Diagram Editor (HTML5), all Recursive Global Transition are converted into many Step Transitions.

      The interest of Global Transition is to keep in only one place.

      I can understand that JIRA editor does not provide all OSWorkflow features , but it is very practice to keep existing settings.

      It was the case with other editor (Text, Diagram in Flex).

            As mentioned by matt.doar, this is a planned feature and not a bug in the implementation of the new workflow designer, so therefore I am resolving this one as "Won't fix".

            Having said that, please leave your feedback on JRA-33692 on how this is impacting you.

            Vincent, this is a planned feature (JRA-33692) for the workflow designer, since global transitions to the same status are apparently no longer being supported (just converted to another kind of transitions). There is l;ots of discussion on the other issue about why this might not be an entirely helpful change for administering more complex workflows.
