    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

As an administrator of a JIRA system, I would like to be able to provide a custom field type similar to the existing "Select List (cascading)" but for which it is possible for the user to select multiple values.

The "Select List (cascading)" field's description is "Choose multiple values from two select lists", so I was surprised to find that it is only possible to select one (pair) value.

I expected that it would behave in a similar manner to "Select List (multiple choice)" (given that the description is: "Choose multiple values in a select list"), with it being possible to re-use the paired-select-lists multiple times on a given issue, selecting and removing options (or rather option pairs)

      E.g. Favourite Soccer Teams:
      [Leagues][v] > [Teams][v]
      Selected:

      • English Premier League > Arsenal
      • English Premier League > Liverpool
      • Spanish La Liga > Real Madrid

The user experience when viewing and removing could, for instance, have been similar to the 'Labels' custom field.

It seems this is not currently supported, so I would like to request this feature.
