      Currently when you create a new user account in JIRA, when the notification is being sent out to the user, the change password link will only be valid for 24 hours time as according to https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Managing+Users#ManagingUsers-Creatingauser

      It would be better if there is an option to adjust this setting according to customer own preference.

      Customer Justification

      when new user is created, notification mail is sent to him or her. Link is valid for 24 hours. Is there any possibility to extend this period from 24 hours to several days? Some our users are not ready to answer the mail in time after getting a new position in our company. Our JIRA user account manager would prefer notification e-mails to be valid for 7 days. Is there any possibility to change the period?
