Attach Screenshot Applet does not work in IE 11, redirects to Oracle website

The Attach Screenshot java applet fails to load, instead the pop up screen redirects to the Oracle Website when accessed with IE 11 browser.

Workaround

1. Use the Attach Image for JIRA plugin instead (not available for OnDemand customers)
2. Try using another browser with Java enabled e.g Chrome, Firefox
3. Using IE developer tools use the emulator tool to change the 'User Agent String' to 'Internet Explorer 10'. I tried this and it worked.
