Unlike the old flash workflow designer, the new one introduced in JIRA 6.1 doesn't provide a screenshot function. I would like to click a button to download an image of my workflow.

I tried it out and found it to be a bit inconsistent. It also performs the work in the browser using JS, which means you can't pull it with a simple HTTP request.

            Hello dear watchers,

We are pleased to announce that there is a "Lab" add-on available from marketplace that brings "Export Image" functionality to JIRA Server workflow designer: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.jira.plugins.workflow.jira-workflow-screenshot-plugin/server/overview

Please note that the add-on is not officially supported though.

Our HR department has workflow with 85 states. How should we document this workflow? Taking several screenshots and merging them is not feasible solution.

Please provide one permalink to the workflow image, so we can document it inside a Confluence page.

If you have access to the server it looks like there are cached pngs that live in <JIRA_HOME>/caches/workflowimages
Cached images no longer exist in new versions of JIRA
