      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Currently, by default, users are shown all the fields available for a screen and they have to go to the Configure Fields menu to configure them (usually hiding them)

      It would be great if we can specify which fields are actually shown by default.
