      The custom field description is a very useful field not only for providing information to the end-users in the UI but also for Jira administrators, regarding who is using it, where is used, if it will be deprecated, if someone could hide it or not,…

      I do expect that a private description could be much harder to implement and for this reason I would like to suggest using HTML hiding the private information from the non-admin UI.

      If we have a CSS class that would be visible only for admin, this would work just fine.
