The behaviour has been reported so far in Firefox, IE ad Chrome on the Windows and Chrome & Firefox on OSX.

      Video attached of the click not extending the JQL query with ASC or DESC when expected.

      No errors are generated within the log when the behaviour occurs.

      I've also attached the developer Tools view which displays the following briefly when the event occurs:

      onselectstart="return false;" unselectable="on"

      Workaround
      Manually adding the 'ORDER BY' argument does work. The behaviour does not always occur.

            Indeed stefan22,

            This was an issue only in the 6.1-OD-05 version which got subsequently remedied in 6.1-OD-07.

            Regards,

            issue is reported to occur in a 6.1OD-version and fixed in 6.1. Is that correct? I'm failing to reproduce the problem here on 6.0.8. Was it only an OD-issue and therefore the fixed version states 6.1 incorrectly?

            Yes, our company began experiencing this problematic behavior with our On Demand instance in the last day or two. We are anxiously awaiting a solution.

            We just upgraded to JIRA 5.2 and have the same problem. But if you click on the column header, then refresh (F5), the column sorts. This is only in the Project > Issues view. It does not work while in a favorite filter.

            We are actively working on this issue. We hope to have it resolved for the final JIRA 6.1 release and in a near term release to OnDemand.

            This is proving to be a problem for my team as it includes many users that have depend on the basic filters for their sorting needs. Speedy resolution would be most appreciated.
