Issue links do not open in Internet Explorer 8 or 9 with Chrome Frame installed

    Description

      If I click on a issue link from anywhere in JIRA or paste an issue link into the address bar the issue is not displayed instead it is redirected to the search page.

      Example if I paste https://mobile.intranet/jira/browse/MDO-212 IE gets redirected to an URL of https://mobile.intranet/jira/i#browse/MDO-212?issueKey=MDO-212&serverRenderedViewIssue=true this happens on all issue links.

      We are going to have to revert our install back to JIRA 5 as we have 400 users with a high percentage using IE9.
