    Description

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Set the current default language in JIRA Administration >> General Configuration to English
      2. Create an issue in a test project, and set the due date to anytime around March (any year). Then resolve the issue
      3. Check the XML of the said issue with the Issue Navigator. This is what you get (expected):
        <created>Thu, 16 Aug 2012 23:49:30 +0800</created><updated>Fri, 8 Mar 2013 18:01:33 +0800</updated><resolved>Fri, 8 Mar 2013 18:01:33 +0800</resolved><due>Fri, 15 Mar 2013 00:00:00 +0800</due>

      4. Now, change the System Default language to German, and this is what you will get (not expected):
        <created>Thu, 16 Aug 2012 23:49:30 +0800</created><updated>Fri, 8 Mar 2013 18:01:33 +0800</updated><resolved>Fri, 8 Mar 2013 18:01:33 +0800</resolved><due>Fr, 15 Mrz 2013 00:00:00 +0800</due>

Only the due date is changed to German. The rest remains in English. The same behavior is observed with French as well.

This is causing JSONExceptions in Confluence's JIRA Issues Macro.

      Resolution

Upgrade to JIRA 5.1 and above, where the issue no longer appears. (All date fields are updated to the correct language)
