Is there any new known work-around to reduce the spam when you don't care to get notifications for certain fields?
"Update Issue" is just too big of a bucket to set notifications for all the fields when you only care for a few...

Yes, some built in way to configure notifications to only be fired based on specific field updates would be a really great feature. This is especially required for when you have a large amount of custom fields that change on a regular basis.

I'd like to see this as the ability to give a list of fields that won't generate notifications when they are edited.
