Currently saving a filter provides a confirmation, but does not provide the ability to undo your last save or to step through the history of the filter.

If filters were versioned, it would make it possible to revert unintended changes or see the evolution of search approaches.

This is particularly relevant for filters that are used as the basis of shared dashboard gadgets, where an entire organization might be viewing a single filter.
