Custom field column is not showing up in Issue Navigator results

Details

    Description

      Steps to reproduce
      1. Execute the search: filter = "Filter for Big Customer Love" order by key asc
      2. Configure Columns and add the Story Points field
      3. You will notice on the configure screen that there are values listed for this field, and the field appears as a column.
      4. Return to Issue Navigator
      5. Observe that no column shows up and no values for Story Points are rendered
      6. Now amend the search: filter = "Filter for Big Customer Love" AND "Story Points" IS NOT EMPTY order by key asc
      7. Observe that the points column is displayed and populated

Take note of a particular issue from the second result list. The second set of results is a sub-set of the first, so that issue will appear in the first result set. Yet when it appears in the first result set, there is no Story Points value listed.

      Workaround

You can follow one of the below workarounds to handle this:

      1. Change the context of the custom field in JIRA administration and make it applicable for all project and issue types
      2. Change the JQL to restrict the query to the project and issueType for which the custom field is valid.
