Long custom field names are truncated in the View Issue screen

In JIRA 5.1.x, custom field with long name are getting truncated in the Issue View screen. Looking further at this behavior, it seems that the issue view will only support custom field name up to 20 characters. For the fields name with more than 20 characters, the name will be truncated.
