      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Replication Steps

      1. Install chrome frame into IE8.
      2. Browse to Administration > Project > People.

      Current Behaviour

      As in the attached screenshot, the page does not render and only displays wait.gif.

      Expected Behaviour

      The page loads successfully.

      Workarounds

      • Disable the Chrome Frame plugin.
      • Use another browser, such as Chrome or Firefox.

      Whilst this is not supported, as in our Supported Platforms, this case has been raised as the Chrome Frame is an excellent workaround for organisations who have to use IE.
