    Description

      NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding bug report.

      Currently it is possible, to enter arbitrary long text into a comment field. There should be at least a very high limit to avoid entering millions of characters.

      Hint: there already exists a mechanism which limits the number of characters for description and environment fields.
