      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      It should be possible to get default values for issue fields that can be set on issue creation. This would allow remote clients to display default values that the user is accustomed to see in JIRA. It seems like the most logical place to put it is /rest/api/2/issue/createmeta.
