      We have description fields in JAC of 1MB in size and large. These then get pulled into memory on issue searches and the like and basically make JIRA much fatter than it should be

      There should be a maximum size of fields in JIRA to prevent these types of fat frogs. Its should probably be configurable since one persons to big is not big enough for another.
