Link Rendering (feature of Application Links) doesn not work in JIRA 4.3

Link rendering has been tested between JIRA and applications as follows:

JIRA 4.1.2 (applinks version 2.1.2)	FECRU 2.5

• In conclusion, link rendering never worked in JIRA 4.3, as it is supposed to (see this documentation).
• The application linkings with 4.3 were done via Oauth, Basic Auth. as well as Trusted Apps. All seem to work fine
• Each application was tested at once (at a time, JIRA was configured with one application, so there is no duplicate server IDs).
• Wiki Style rendering is enabled
• Observation is that JIRA 4.3 does not even try to connect to the remote application when link rendering is attempted, whereas it used to work in previous versions of applinks plugin.

Below are two examples (both with same configurations attempt). I just typed "CR-TEST-1" and here is the result after clicking on "add":
