As many issues, especially client reported issues, and feature requests may be directly related to multiple JIRA projects, it is currently necessary to clone issues for each project that is affected. Which in effect is just duplicating information and wasting time.

Maintaining and synchronizing these issues across multiple projects is a major hassle, and would easily be resolved if issue could belong to multiple projects/fix versions.
