      Description

      HI

      Can you please help.. I created a validator operation as part of my workflow and it seems like the function is appending additional fields to the string.

      Require that User has selected a value for the following fields: # of Unit Tests.Check-in Branches.Client Build #.Code Review Comments.workflowMode.

      This should be the expected structure in XML for example:
      <validators>

      <validator name="" type="class">

      <arg name="class.name">
      com.atlassian.jira.plugin.workflow.field.validator.FieldValidator
      </arg>
      <arg name="selectedFields">Check-in Branches;Fix Version/s</arg>
      </validator>

      HOWEVER, when i'm adding a validator based upon a custom field, I get the workflowMode appended to the argument name field. I've also tried previous projects with other validators and when I removed and readded the same custom field types, it will have the same problem.

      ISSUE example, see below
      <validators>

      <validator name="" type="class">

      <arg name="class.name">
      com.atlassian.jira.plugin.workflow.field.validator.FieldValidator
      </arg>
      <arg name="selectedFields">workflowMode;Code Review Comments</arg>
      </validator>
      </validators>

        Note: workflowMode is not part of the custom fields. I suspect this is being returned by field validator workflow class
