New UI makes issue key very hard to select for copy and paste

It's fairly common to want to copy and paste an issue key into an email, document or Confluence page. The new UI makes it extremely difficult to select the issue key with the mouse (at least in Firefox, probably in other browsers too).

Can we make a larger click area around the issue key which allows selection by tweaking the margin or padding? Or perhaps get rid of the "Project Name /" at the start of the line somehow?

It's hard to explain how difficult it is unless you try it. Feel free to come over to my desk and I can give you a demo of me flailing around trying to select the issue key in my browser.
