    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

Can you please re-add the options for:
      1. Navigation Bar Highlight Background Colour
      2. Navigation Bar Text Highlight Colour

which were present in Jira 3.13.4 build 354 are missing in Jira v4.0.1 build 471.

We would like to customise these colours to match our company's site design.

            Hi Jörg,

            Thanks for your request.
However at this time we do not plan on implementing this into JIRA in the foreseeable future.

I'll close this in the mean time to keep things tidy on our end.
If we ever look into your request again I'll be sure to reopen this issue.
            Thanks for your suggestion.

            Cheers,
            Roy

According to https://support.atlassian.com/browse/JSP-50906 these customisations were removed as "it was decided that it would be too complex to allow the customisation of this colour, due to the number of other colours/settings that this setting interacts with".

Removing this feature because it was overloaded with other functionality does not seem like a good reason, this feature worked very well in Jira 3.13.4 and we really would like to see it returned in a future version of Jira.

If this setting really interacts with too many "other colours/settings" (although I cannot understand how that would be the case) - then please change the interactions.

            Regards
            Jack...

PS. Please do not assume something is "too complex" for your customers as this can and does give the wrong impression.
