watchedIssues() JQL function is very slow

    Description

      On our JIRA instance, running a JQL query of "issue in watchedIssues()" takes about a minute to complete. FYI, our watchers table has 814,000 rows.

      To work around this we are still using the Voters and Watchers custom field plugin.
