      Sympoms

      • E-mail attachments do not get added to created issues, especially when connecting to Exchange 2003 via IMAP.
      • E-mail attachments do not get added to updated issues, especially when connecting to Exchange 2003 via IMAP.

      The problem is that some E-mail servers (e.g. Exchange 2003) report MIME types in uppercase, for example, "MESSAGE/RFC822". JIRA does a case-sensitive comparison which makes it ignore these valid attachments.

      This has already been fixed in MAIL-43 which is included in 3.13.2 and above.
