Description
Noticing how email handler does not appear to play well with Lotus Notes:
- User is set to receive HTML messages from JIRA.
- Email client is Lotus Notes
- User replies to HTML email received from JIRA
- Email handler processes incoming HTML email from Lotus Notes:
- Comment is created
- Seven images from original JIRA email message are added as attachments, including:
- issue type icon
- priority icon
- status icon
- a variety of .gif spacers
Please, provide some insight on how this issue may be addressed. Managing attachments of this nature become very time consuming, is bothersome as deleting attachments creates an additional email notification for each deleted file (Can you tell me which event is triggered by attachment deletion?), and - plainly speaking - does not make a good impression on our customers.
