I'm wondering if the current behaviour of the Excel export is the correct one:

When exporting a table in the issue navigator containing for instance the description field (with wiki-markup renderer) and you have formatted text in this field then the export in an excel file is real ugly because the wiki-markup is not be filtered out but is shown in the exported cells (like 'h2.' or '_'. In my opinion when the formatting can't be transmitted in the excel (but I guess some formattings can be transmitted like bold, colors, italics etc.) then at least the wiki markup should not be transmitted but only the pure text/content.

We need both the ability of formatting the text fields in JIRA but also usable Excel exports but currently the last one can't be used
