Portfolio does not support changing the issue type for an issue, for both uncommitted issues or existing issues. If you mistakenly select the wrong issue type at creation in Portfolio you must manually copy all information from that issue to one with the correct type, or commit it and manually change the type in JIRA.

For committed issues, this should follow the same rules as for the Issue Type field in JIRA - editing between issue types that are assigned to the same workflow should be allowed.

For uncommitted issues it should be fully editable.
