Extend the support of custom fields in Advanced Roadmaps

      Dear customers,

      Thank you all for your patience throughout this time and for sharing field types you wish to see supported in Jira Plans. We greatly appreciate your feedback.

      We are happy to announce that we have extended the support for custom fields in Jira Plans. The following previously unsupported field types are now available:

      Field Type Supported Operations
      Category Edit, Filter, Sort, Group By
      Original Estimate Edit, Sort, Aggregate
      Time Spent Edit, Sort, Aggregate
      Select List (cascading) Edit, Filter, Sort, Group By
      User (multi-select) Edit, Filter, Sort, Aggregate
      Date and Time Picker Edit, Filter, Sort
      Version (multi-select) Edit, Filter, Group By, Aggregate

       
      In addition, the following operations have been added to already supported fields:

      Field Type New Supported Operations
      User (single-select) Filter, Sort, Aggregate
      Short Text Filter, Sort
      Date Picker Filter
      Currency-Formatted Number Aggregate
      Fix Versions Filter

       
      We acknowledge this addition does not address all requested fields, and we are continuing to evaluate additional custom field support based on your feedback.
