please improve "filter rules" performance in the rules list / manager

As an automation rule writer
I want the "filter rules" performance to be faster
So I can quickly find the rules I need to maintain and not waste time.

Current conditions:

With a project that has over 200 rules, the "filter rules" function is quite slow.  In fact, when typing in search criteria, the filter field starts to lose entered search characters during the repaint of the screen.  Each character...must...be...entered...one...at...a...time...slowly...in order for the search to keep up and not lose information.

This performance issue is even worse when deleting characters, as the search cannot keep up with deletion, and so ignores any Backspace key presses.  The only work-arounds are:

• to try to delete all characters from the field and start over, or
• to ignore the search and save your own index of rules in a separate document with links directly to the rules!

This symptom has been made worse lately due to the performance incidents for Jira Cloud.
