Allow automation rules to continue to execute after receiving error responses from a Send Web Request action

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

Currently, if a Send Web Request action receives an error response, such as a 500 error, the automation rule will not be executed because of this error.

It would be nice if we had the option to continue executing the rule if the web request's response is an error, or if we could provide additional instructions, components or actions to be executed if an automation rule receives such a response.

I believe that the rule should not stop at all as we have response body and response code, so we can easily add rule just after the Web Request, checking the status code and taking appropriate action. sometimes we want to do something even if the web request fail. for example add comment into the issue with response body, so users know what was the problem.
