This suggestion is for the ability to customize the sender of an invite email. Instead of the user who sent the invite (who may not be recognized by the invitees), some companies may prefer the sender to be the Company or Jira.

      Workaround

A separate user account can be created can be created that is dedicated to invites. For example company_Jira_invites@companyname.com

Same problem here, invitation email and verification email in spam from sender @id.atlassian.com also a lot of phishing reports from our users

Most importantly: add to the invitation email the name of the Site that the user is invited to. right now the email is totally unclear, not specifying which site exactly the user is invited to.

urgent need for this, user think the invitation mail is spam / phishing. we train them hard not to click of suspect mails...

We are implementing an Active Directory sync on our instance and every user in our directory that does not have an account is recieving an email "xxxx has invited you to join them"...

While we're asking our endusers to be aware of phishing mails, they naturally throw the mail in the recycle bin!

All our efforts to get our users on Jira is useless without being able to customize the notification sent to our users!

The current email invite looks and sounds like a poorly designed phishing attempt. It's entirely unclear whether the email is intended as an ad for Atlassian or as an invite for a tool. Especially the subject is galling: "Bram has invited you to join them" ... it doesn't provide any context. It doesn't reference the organization name, only the inviting user's name.

            1. Enable customizing the email subject
            2. Change the "From" name to the organization instead of Atlassian
            3. Enable custom templates for the email body, instead of the phishy Atlassian ad.
