      It would be great to be able to also import/synchronize avatar from LDAP or Active Directory to JIRA. It is a cool feature to have, where the user want to use the same avatar from its AD directory, or when a company wants to have the avatar synchronized for both AD and JIRA.

            This could be done with a simple script if they would add Avatar functions to the REST API.

            Consider:

            ID-7859 Implement REST API to upload an avatar picture

            and

            ACCESS-1292 As an org admin, I would like to upload a profile picture on behalf of a managed account
