Summary
Currently, groups need to be individually granted access to products. It would be helpful to grant the ability to bulk add all groups access to a specific product. This functionality would be key for organizations with a lot of groups to manage.
Suggestion
- In the admin hub on the "Groups" page, there should be some capability to select all groups or multiple groups at once to grant these groups access to a product.
- As it currently exists, groups need to be individually selected and granted product access.
Workaround
The way it currently exists, the only way to grant multiple groups product access to a product at once would be using the following steps:
- Navigate to admin.atlassian.com
- Select Products >> "Product Name" >> select manage access
- From the product access page, you then have the option Add groups
- In the Add groups modal, you can select several groups at once to grant multiple groups access to a product.
This method, however, does still require that you individually select the groups from the dropdown menu for product access, but it does allow multiple groups to be granted access at once.
For example, this is what it would look like using the steps above to grant all groups in an organization product access to the Atlassian Analytics product:
