Allow administrators to configure default Permission when inviting new users

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

    Description

Currently, we have three defaults for users Permissions:

      • Basic: assigns jira-software-users, jira-servicedesk-users, jira-core-users, confluence-users
      • Trusted: assigns jira-software-users, jira-servicedesk-users, jira-core-users, confluence-users and administrators
      • Site administrator: assigns jira-software-users, jira-servicedesk-users, jira-core-users, confluence-users and site-admin

      The Suggestion

At this moment, trusted user is the default value when you invite a new user. It would be nice if admins could choose which permission level would be the default value for new invites.
