      Problem

Previously, in JIRA User Management, it was possible to view the groups being used and how they are being used. This was very useful for customers to determine which groups to keep and which could be removed, for auditing purposes.

The Cloud User Management now no longer has the option described in the Managing Groups article.

      Solution

Provide some way either in JIRA Cloud itself or in User Management along with the Groups page to view which permission schemes or notifications were using said groups.

The new admin.atlassian.com experience has been rolled out to new customers, and existing customers will be migrated to this new user experience.

It will allow organization admins to view which products your groups allow access to.

This is absolutely essential! We need this functionality ASAP!

This is critical. Showing admins that a group has a membership of zero means that they can safely remove this group with no ill-effects. But this is not true. Permission schemes or notifications can also use the group. Also, default groups (e.g., "jira-administrators" or "administrators") should be emphasized that they were created with the account and are default groups.
