Description
Problem
Users should be redirected to the 'Can't access your account?' page instead of the 'Forgot username or password' page when trying to reset their passwords by clicking on the 'Unable to access your account?' link on the login page.
That's because when the username of a user matches his email address, the process of resetting the password gets confused and painful.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a user with a username that matches the email address
- Log off the instance
- Click on the 'Unable to access your account?' link on the login page
- Fulfill the box with your username (which is your email address as well)
- You'll receive an email containing your username (as if you were trying to figure it out instead of resetting the password) and a link stating that you can also reset your password if you wish - click on that link
- You'll get redirected to the 'Can't access your account?' page
- Choose the option to reset the password and fulfill the box with your username again
- You'll receive an email containing a link that will redirect you to the reset password page - click on that link to redefine your password
Now, the same steps if your email address doesn't match your username
- Create a user with a username that matches the email address
- Log off the instance
- Click on the 'Unable to access your account?' link on the login page
- Fulfill the box with your username
- You'll receive an email containing a link that will redirect you to the reset password page - click on that link to redefine your password
