Google recently released support for adding secondary domains to a Google Apps account. We should investigate what impact this will have on Google App integration in JIRA Studio.

added a comment - We rely on auto-creation of jiras through automated pulls from a email account.
Sender email is mapped to jira user's email to set Reporter correctly.
Google allows multiple domains.. We are seeing painful behavior where some people have changed their default send emails to use a different alias and jiras filed by then does not have correct "Reporter".
Ideally, jira should allow multiple email aliases.
One hack is to allow us to edit people's email address.. This way I change ppl's email to a different alias if that's what they have set their default send email to.
This is leading to huge nightmare as we have to now make sure right ppl are getting cced.
I would be happy to provide more details..if there is a need.

The new "group-based syncing" will sync all domains for a Google Apps account.
