Linux 4.0 spell checking is not working

Summary

Spell checking is not working in Linux 4.0 even though it has enabled.
Client startup log :

Step to reproduce

1. Start HipChat
2. Type any wrong spelling
3. Spell checking didn't do anything

Expected Results

Spell check is working an highlighting the wrong spelling word

Actual Results

Nothing is shown when for a wrong spelling word
