Right now with Hipchat the

/code 

command will highlight/format code typed into the message.

A very nice feature to be added onto this is inline code formatting/highlighting. Basically something like:

"Hi this is a hipchat message. I want to add some code in this message

var x = 20;

and I want to be able to put text after the code block too."

The only problem with the above message is it puts the code into an entirely new line.
