Description
Sorry if posted elsewhere (have searched for but cannot find).
A good feature would be to mark messages/rooms as unread. For example, we use HipChat regularly (easy 30-40 rooms open at once).
Sometimes a message is received and after reading it and realising you cannot reply straight away, you need to remember which room the conversation is in (in order to reply at a later time). This results in lots of "room hopping" to find the right one, sometimes "reading" messages whilst looking for the right room.
If marked as "Unread" (or highlighted in a similar way) it would be easy to see them messages needing a reply.
I only use the Windows client, so not sure if this feature is already in Mac etc.
