    Description

      Problem Definition

      In private rooms with a large number of members (people who have access to the room), users are sorted alphabetically. This makes it difficult to know who are currently online in the room.

      Suggested Solution

      Allow the user to sort the room members either alphabetically or by status. Alternatively, allow the user to also hide offline users.

      Workaround

      It is possible to develop a pretty similar solution via a sidebar add-on and HipChat API calls.
