    Description

      Summary

      Message notifications fired from the StatusPage integration server can be intermittent or fail completely to reach HipChat Server/HipChat Data Center instances.

      Environment

      HipChat Server
      HipChat Data Center

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Verify that your HCDC cluster or HCS instance has in/outbound connectivity
      2. Install the StatusPage HipChat integration.
      3. After installed, connect your StatusPage account in the 'Configure' section in HipChat
      4. Create a test status to trigger a notification into HipChat.
      5. If the message does come through, wait an hour and retry.

      Expected Results

      Message notifications from StatusPage should populate in the configured room

      Actual Results

      Message notifications from StatusPage may not populate in the configured room

      Notes

      The issue appears to reside on the StatusPage integration server, so the HipChat logs will not capture any log entries related to this problem.

      Workaround

      No known workaround presently.
