Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Software Server. Using JIRA Software Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
Our team has a dashboard containing ranked assigned tasks for each individual developer. It should go without saying that an issue in the backlog should never be a higher rank than one in an active sprint. However, it appears this is possible. In our current planning view, we drag an issue to the top of the backlog. It is then #1 on the ranked filter for that developer. If we drag it to the bottom of the backlog, it's moved below all other issues, as expected.
Alternately, is there a way to filter issues by sprint, so active sprints are at the top of the list? I tried doing this, but got "Field 'Sprint' does not support sorting."
