Moving issues during version(child) release causing total estimates for those issues to add up again in parent.

      Example:

      • Releasing a version(child) with incomplete issues which contain estimates(original/remaining) 5 hours
      • This 5 hours will be added to parent estimate another time causing the parent estimate to increase without any explainable sources

Understood, thanks for the screenshots Muhammad. Definitely a bug, the parent start and end dates overlap the sprints (expected) while the parent is summing the remaining estimate from one issue twice based on the current Fix Version and the Version History.

Appreciate the help, have a top day,
            Nick

            Hi Nicholas,

I've added some screenshots for your perusal in sequence 1,2 and 3.

Notice that parent's estimate become 8 hours and number of issues still 4 where the parent's estimate should stay at 4 hours.

            Cheers,
            Fahd

            Hi Muhammad,

Can you please provide more information. From what you have written above I do not expect the remaining time of 5 hours to be added to the parent on release, as it will always be there so long as the days overlap. For instance:

            • Parent (Start January, End February)
              • Child (Start 5th Jan, End 15th Jan)

In that scenario the remaining estimates in the Child version should also be present in Parent. Are you seeing different behaviour?

Please link to the support request.

            Thanks,
            Nicholas
