Greenhopper must have an error message if the user is using Custom Project Key Pattern.

      Hi Team,

      There are numerous number of cases which Greenhopper functionality is broken due to customer is using Custom Project Key Pattern in JIRA. I have talked with Dev about this and mentioned that we don't support a Custom Project Key Pattern. I'm also aware we have put a warning in the documentation for changing project key pattern in JIRA.

      It would be best if Greenhopper would report to the user that the problem is that their project key does not work with Greenhopper and that they should change it. A simple warning/error message in the logs should prevent our customer to get confuse to find out what might be gone wrong with their GH features.

            Hi Vicky,

            I'm just noting that I tried a custom project key template with the Rapid Board and didn't notice any issues, hopefully this will resolve itself as we migrate most functionality to the Rapid Board. Do you have a specific test case you'd like to check to be sure?
