Assigning components to parent components does not affect all issues for all versions

We have just imported 1470 issues in one project and spread it over 120 components. The 1470 issues are spread over 7 Fix Versions.

The task is now to setup 10 new parent components and sort the 120 components to their parents.
This works nicely because every issue gets it current component and its parent component as well.

Unfornatly, this works only for Versions, which are currently selected in the planning board.

Example. Component AA has 5 Issues for Version 2011 and 4 Issues for 2012
Planning board shows now Version 2011 and I select for Component AA Parent A
Parent A shows now 5 Issues and not 9 Issues!

The Workaround might be quite easy - do this only with "Unreleased Version" -!

But this is not easy to remember and very hard to find out!
This should work for every selected version.
