List/Summary/Card symbols appear/disappear on mouse hover ?

On initial display there are no edit issue / add subtask symbols on list view and there are no edit / change symbols on the summary & card views.

In Firefox (3.5.8) the symbols appear when the mouse is over the list line (and disappear whn moving to another line) and appear only for the specific summary / card line the mouse currently is over (and no others)

In IE8 all symbols appear when the mouse hovers over the list line or summary / card and usually (but not always) disappear then mouse moves to another line / summary / card.

This is most annoying
